These images are not just your standard black and white or altered visible pictures made to look pretty with colors. We use a 640X480 resolution camera which gives us 307,200 temperature readings in a single image. The cameras detector captures temperature readings from an object and converts it into an image our brains can interpret by assigning a color for each individual temperature in the image. These images are called "Thermograms". There are several color pallets to choose from. Custom color pallets can also be created.
